Natural wood rings require more care than metallic or ceramic ones. CNICK wood rings, crafted using the bentwood method, are durable and high-quality. However, compromising the waterproof finish can lead to ring damage.
There are some things you should avoid while wearing a wooden CNICK ring:
- Avoid harsh chemicals and solvents. These rings are waterproof and mild soap will not affect them however, solvents and corrosives including HAND SANITIZER can damage the finish.
- Rings are sealed and waterproofed. That said, it’s not recommended that you regularly submerge them in water. It’s really more about the time covered in water than the amount of that water. As a basic guideline, take your ring off when swimming or showering, but leave it on when just washing hands.
- Also steer clear of heavy machinery and sharp objects. If you like to wear multiple rings, be aware that the constant rubbing from a metal ring on an adjacent finger can damage the finish on your wood ring over a time.
